Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

I was side swiped by a Taxi. The Taxi made an illegal u-turn and ran right into me. After getting the police report I later found out the taxi driver got a ticket for making an illegal left turn. I tired to go through the taxi driver/companies insurance and found out the insurance is a fake. What act can I take or what i'm i entiled to?

You need to file a "no-fault" claim with your own insurance company (assuming you owned the car that was sideswiped). If this was a "yellow" cab that hit you, in all likelihood it will have insurance. You need to contact the cab company directly to find out the correct information for the cab's insurance carrier.
