Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York
I went to sit on a dining room chair in a store and the seat which was not fastened fell through. It didn't seem that I was hurt but by the next night I realized that I had bruises across the back of my legs, in the middle of my lower back and my legs, hip area and back are very sore. Is it too late to report it to the store? I am 61 yrs old.

No. Go to the store and report the accident. If the injuries turn out to be minor, perhaps you'll decide against making a claim. If they turn out to be serious, you'll have the report to work with. Best, M. E. Zuller
