The statute of limitations for negligence is three years. It is one year if it was an intentional tort.

Generally, it is two years in Nevada. (See NRS 11.190), although various exceptions/qualifications may apply.

3 years from the date of the injury except in medical ,alpractice...where in is 2 1/2, and wronful death, where it is also less.

In NY the statute of limitation for a negligence case is 3 years and medical malpractice is 2 1/2 years from the date of the malpractice (with certain exceptions).

In Nevada the statute of limitations is 2 years from the date of the accident which caused the injury.
