Verdict and Settlement Trends - Legal Liability Environment

I have the ''2000 Current Award Trends in Personal Injury'' published by LRP/Jury Verdict Researchj Series, however this really contains only stats and I need more information than this.

I am in the process of trying to complete an analysis of verdict and settlement trends and developments from a claims perspective on the liability environment in terms of personal lines. This analysis would include auto, homeowners, and personal negligence/umbrella-excess lines of business and would be for the entire country.

What is the public climate? What is the overall liability climate, stable and improving or not? Does it appear that tort reform is effective? Have juries become more or less liberal with the $�s?

Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This is thesis or publication work...For an asnwer like this, all that canbe provided is anecdotal evidence. The real material must comes froma carrier claims department/corporate offices as this is what you seek to analyze.
