Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York
I was at work and 4ft heigh 9ft long mahogny cabinets fell off the wall and knocked me out - I have 2 severe herniated disks. I was accepted to SSIDisabilty my first visit for neck and back injuries. I've been on SSID - Compensation and am receiving Aetna LTD. I'm suing the the cabinet makers and the contruction company - I see a Ortho monthly and I'm marked totally disabled. My lawyer wants me to see their Ortho and Neuro. Dr's which I's fine but now they want me to see a vocational counseler which has nothing to do with my case. Can you guide me with some procedures.

Without knowing more, it is difficult to offer any guidance. However, if you are totally disabled an opinion from a vocational expert may be important to your case. You should seek the answers you are looking for from your current lawyer first.
