Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

if im working for a authorized contractor and im driving a company vehilce that is insured by them and i get into an accident am i suppose to pay any out of pocket money to my owners for that accident, they are asking me for $2500 and they want to take it out of my check , can they do this and should i have to pay PLEASE HELP ME
