Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

new york and arizona are fighting over what state has jurisdiction on my case w

i was involves i a accident where i was struck by a snowmoblie and had many injuries to my face eyes nose and mouth.. i underwent surgery on my eyes nose and teeth... this all took place in new york state but the driver is from arizona....new york will not handle this case do to the fact they say it is arizonas problem and not new yorks... this has been going on for 8 years now.... i was wondering if any of you would be able to help me out and tell me what state has jurisdiction over my case thankyou very much

With those facts, and those facts alone,

it would appear that this matter could be brought in Federal Court in New York based upon your New York residence and the Arizona residence of the other driver.

As to State Court, if brought there, it would have to, most likely, be brought in Arizona.
