Future Arrest possible?

I was in a bar fight and stuff in the bar was broken. My wallet fell out during the fight and the people at the bar found it. I called up the cops and asked if they had my wallet they said just my id and they kep asking me questions about the fight but i said i didnt feel comfortable with out a lawyer. He said i have a felony against me for breaking a window but i did not break the window it was broken from people throwing glasses and chairs etc. I then called the cops they next day and they would not tell me if i had a charge against me and said to talk to the officer in a couple days when he was back on duty. Hes still not on duty yet and i just dont want to get pulled over and get arrested for a warrent . They police said that thier was a report but could not give any more information.

If you have a posible felony charge against you there are various things that you should do.

Primarily, be very careful over the next few days until you do speak to the officer who is handling the case.

Secondly, get s much information as possible...

third, if there is a warrant against you i sugest hiring an attorney ASAP and turning yourself in o the authorities with that attorney... this way you may attempt to explain away what happened and possibly end things there or at the very least ensure that when you go before a judge that bail doesnt become an issue, because youve already turned yourself in and are attempting to cooperate...
