Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
About 2 months ago, a large tree branch was blown down by the heavy wind. Am I responsible for any kind of damage to my neighbors caused by the tree in my backyard?

Unless you knew that the tree was rotting and was a threat to your neighbor's property, the answer would be no. However, this type of accident is normally covered under homeowner's insurance.
