Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Im currently 3 months behind on my rent with my management company for my residential apartment in manhattan. I wanted to know from a real estate attorney how long it takes them to evict you. Im paying them what i can every month and am trying to work out payments with out having the balance keep rising. I live in a rent controlled apartment and have been there for 20 years.

There are many variables. However, generally, you can be evicted in 4 to 6 weeks.
