Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

a 63+ yoa has inherited 50% equity/ other sibling has other 50 % from parent 5 years deceased. wish to see what are options to liquidate equity. sibling does not want to put property on market (claiming we won't get value for house in present market) i wish to sell , sibling and family have lived in and used property since parent died. my family has not received any remuneration from inheritance.What are options for getting money out of property before sales tax goes into affect.

If the property is not generating income then you can seek to have the property sold or force your sibling to buy you out.
