Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Accepted offer

In July I had a buyer make an offer which was accecpted home inspections was completed and issues taken care of, they stated they were closing on their home 8/01/06. The dates were changed for several weeks with promise to sign the contract as soon as they closed, they finally closed last week, and now they mother decided the house was too far. After all this time is there anything we can do to legally to make them complete the purchase?????
