What is the accident property personal liabilty limits

What is the limit of an owners personal liabilty on a property that he owns where an accident has taken place? The accident seems minor but a lawyer and a chiroprator are now involved. Home owners insurance for accidents are enforce. Can other assests become involved with any legal action?

If you have insurance your carrier must be notified, immediately. Most policies have a clause that will allow an insurance company to waive coverage if a homeowner fails to promptly notify the carrier of any anticipated claims.

If the claim is legitimate, the insurance company should in good faith try to resolve the issue with the individual that was hurt. If the issue cannot be resolved, the insurance company will retain an attorney that will litigate on your behalf.
