adding name to deed
can i put my name on the deed to my parents home? could i then re-finance and buy them out? and have them pay off their minimal mortgage? how should we begin?

The first question is whether your parents have a pre-existing mortgage. If yes, then that will change how you handle the matter. If not, then you can add your name as Joint Owner and then re-finance. Ezra and Howe can assist you with this matter.
