Adding myself onto the Deed
I am a resident in NYC was advised that inorder to add my name to deed I need to do the following:
1. Draft Updated Deed adding my name
2. complete TP584 form
3. complete RP 5217NYC(equalization form)
4. Draft Smoke alarm affidavit
5. All forms must be filed w/ county clerk land records.
6. Advise the Mortgage company that I want to add my name to the deed. What if I dont tell the mortgage company?
Am I missing anything else?

In New York City the TP584, RP5217NYC and smoke alarm affidavit must be completed online at http://www.nyc.gov/html/dof/html/jump/acris.shtml
