Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

I have an attorney that has been ignoring my calls and emails, who might still have a notarized partition agreement of a "tenants in common" property that he was reviewing before I was to sign. The problem is, the other interest owner's attorney called my attorney to cancel the agreement. I was never notified of their intent to cancel, and was later contacted by new owners that do not want to partition, who knew of the prior notarized partition before purchasing the undivided half interest. They told me they have the time & money to fight me in court should I file for a judicial partition, and I don't have the funds to fight them, other than the equity in the property, which I can't sell. Not sure what I can do at this point.

I am not totally sure of your question. However, you should not continue with an attorney that never returns telephone calls or e-mails. You may want to contact your local bar association's lawyer referral program to interview a new attorney. You may find an attorney willing to commence a partition action for a contingent fee.
