a guy blacked topped my 91 yr old moms driveway,she did not tell him to,only fill in cracks,he had said he had some left over.she went to store ,cameback,he had done whole drivewy!.he said that will be $4000!!,i know hes scamed her i say she does not have to pay him!!

It depends. Did she sign anything at all?

There would be numerous defenses to a lawsuit from the contractor, however, he may just place a mechanic's lien against the house.
