Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

My boyfriend bought a house and I want to know what I can do to prevent him from asking me to move out if a problem arises. I bought major appliances for the home and put money into its upkeep. What rights do I have and what should I do before we move into the new home?

You need a domestic partnership agreement. Costs ~$1000 to have a lawyer do it. Problem is that better than half of the time, negotiating the agreement breaks up the couple. The time to settle the rules is BEFORE YOU FURNISH THE LOW LIFE'S HOUSE FOR HIM.

Seriously, the guy's got quite a sweet deal going and now you're going to pull the rug out from under him. You essentially have no rights because in real estate, if it ain't written down, it's not worth a tinker's damn. (That's not racist as I am Irish Traveller myself :-)
