Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

I'm buying a multi unit investment property in NY and I want to put it in my son's name. My son is two year old. Can we put the title in his name?

No. But you can place the property in trust so that when the child is an adult he would have title to the property. In the meantime, you - or anyone else you trust - may be the trustee.
