Conflicts of Interest

Can a real estate agent in NY offer the services of an affiliated business to prospective clients? I.e. if the real estate agent also owns a home improvement company can they suggest those improvment services for a home that they have sold to a client? Or if the real estate agent is also an attorney, can they offer their services for the closing of a house that they have just sold to a client?

They are probably fine in this as long as they are very clear that they have an interest in these other services/companies.
