Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Co-op

How much is the right amount to pay a Lawer for transfering property from two spouses to one.(My x-husband giving me co-op stocks as a gift, also I am doing refinance) I am just worring people trying to overcharge me. It would be nice if you recomend someone or may be yourself.

Thanks

It all depends what is involved, however $1500 to $2000 is very reasonable.

Re: Co-op

I think Mr. Moulinos gives a fair range. There is not much work involved in what you describe, but there is always a liability factor that a good lawyer will require compensation for. Feel free to call me to discuss.
