Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Coop Building

I moved in a coop building at the end of february and the coop has not send me a rent bill as of yet. The checks for first month rent and deposit has not been collected either. The broker fee was collected as well as the processing fee for the administration office. Should I be legally concerned about this.

Re: Coop Building

Yes. Contact the people from whom you

rented immediately to make arrangements

for payment. Document all efforts in

writing.

And most of all---do not spend the money

Make sure that you have 100% of it when

you finally find out who will be taking it
