MY mother and her boyfriend bought A house togeather.When they broke up she tryed to get him to signover his half.He refuesed to.So my question is if there is any way to make him pay for half the morgage.Thank you kas819

She probably cannot force him to pay for the mortgage, but she may be able to recapture the excess in value (equity by mortage payments, but also improvements, for example) that she contributes. If she cannot afford to keep the house without the co-owner's assistance, she may want to consider forcing an action for partion/sale.
