Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
I'm a cosigner on a mortgage loan. I would like to know what are my option to remove myself safe from this issue. a broker has a buyer already but broker wants to file for mortgage assistance and asked me for my info. please help !!!

Sell the house and pay off the mortgage. Alternatively, ask the bank to take you off the loan. (unlikely to impossible)
