Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
I have a date of 6/15 for closing in the contract of sale for my condo. Is there a 30 day time period post the contract date to close ? I need some extra time for my new home to be completed.

Unless there is a "Time is of the essence" clause in your contract, you may get a reasonable adjournment. What does your attorney say?
