deed transfers
do you need to do an abstract when you are just trying to transfer the deed from one person to another, and what are the steps in doing so

It is always adviced to do a search to find out what is in the registers office and what liens exists against the property. One also needs title insurance, and when there is a transfer in ownership the insurance expires. If you have additional questions I can be reached at 201/646/9600.
