If you have a deed that is the oldest known deed
for land in New York would you own the land even
if your name is not on the deed? Would and extract
of a deed also be valid?

Re: deeds
Unless you are the grantee named in the deed
or you have inherited from the person who
is the grantee in the deed, your mere
possession of the physical deed means nothing
