I need to find out how to transfer a deed from one person to another and I need to know the steps in how to do it.

In addition most mortgages have acceleration clauses which provide that the mortgage is due and payable in full if title changes.

It would be improper for any attorney to provide you with legal advice without having first reviewed all of the facts and circumstances of your particular matter.

However, I will try to provide you with some information.

Generally speaking, to effect a transfer you may prepare a new deed. However, you must consider several other issues.

You must consider whether there are any title issues that must be resolved prior to the transfer, such as liens and other encumbrances. You must also determine whether there will be any transfer taxes due. Additionally, the deed must be recorded at the country clerk's office.

I would recommend that you consult with an attorney and provide them with all of the relevant facts and circumstances.
