Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

If i am already divorced for more than 5 yrs and my ex has remairred 2 times since the divorce and in our divorce papers we never discussed our home that is jointly owned and I have been living in the home, making all the payments and making repairs, now my ex wants the property. What can I do? He never paid any paymants and abandond the house years ago, but now he wants to live in it with his new wife. But I also have a minor child from my last marriage that I need a home for. What leag rights does he have to take the house from me???
