Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

I have an easement in Yonkers NY where my 2 next neighbors has right to get their car to their respective garages. During the snow my neighbor and I (one of the 2 neighbors) decided to move the cars in front of our houses in the street. We shovel was is required by the city which is the side street. The other neighbor sent a note to use stating that we were not in compliance and need it to shovel the snow. We did not answer his request since he could have also put his car in the front. Can you advise pls?

Jose:

I would have to see the easement to determine what the requirements, if any, are. In any event, a right of access does not necessarily involve clearing away snow, unless it is spelled out in the easement.
