escrow account intrest rate

i have had $10000 in a sellers attorneys escrow account. It has now been released to me after 21 months and i have only recieved $55.73 in intrest.Is there a standard intrest rate in an attorneys esrow set by the state?

It depends on what escrow account the money was in. I'm surprised the attorney didn't charge you for providing the escrow account, that is a standard charge.
