Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

My family are tenants in Park Slope Brooklyn.

A new agent has taken over the ongoing sale of the house.

What rights do I have in terms of how much advance warning they need to give?

Can I object to open houses?

Also they brought an inspector in without my consent or the landlords - while I wasnt there obviously. Surely this is illegal?

Thanks in advance.

The landlord's obligations are defined in the written lease agreement. However, generally, notice given must be reasonable. A five minute or five month notice is not reasonable.
