my father's will
My friend's nephew is the only blood relative of his father. He is incarcerated and feels that his father was coirused into putting the will together by his second wife and her two daughters. Can he contest the will? He feels that the step sisters are named in the will. My father also signed the house over to them last year without telling his only son. What rights does he have?

An adult child (unlike a spouse) is not entitled to share in a person's estate "just because" they feel they should. Therefore, a Parent's choice not to provide for an adult child, is legal and within the perogative of the individual.
However, an adult child has the right to contest a parent's Will. And, should if the child appears to have been unintentionally omitted from the Will writing.
