When a home is being foreclosed and is up for auction, how soon do you have to vacate the premises before the auction

You can stay in the premises even after auction. Under RPAPL 713(5), you would have to vacate the premises after a 10 day notice to quit has been served and after "The property has been sold in foreclosure and either the deed delivered pursuant to such sale, or a copy o such deed, certified as provided in the civil practice law and rules, has been exhibited to [you]."
