foreclosure
I own a home involved in fire. fha 203k to repair. Contractor destroyed house walked away. Bank supposed to check his work did not. Now bank wants to foreclose. Can I sue both bank and contractor? How do I find a lawyer.

obviously you can sue the contractor immediately. You have to do so immediately, first in line gets paid.
With regard to the bank I would have to see all of the loan payments to make an intelligent decision.

If the house fire was caused by the negligence of the contractor, you may have an action based on negligence.
Unless there is a writing from the bank setting forth its obligation to check contractor's work, the obligation to the bank and the obligation to the contractor are separate. Therefore, you may not have a cause of action against the bank.
