Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
I own a half share of a 2 family house in Queens, NY. My 2 sisters each own 1/4. They are buying out my half share. I accepted their price to purchase my half share in October 2009 and as of this date they have not gotten a mortgage or made any move to complete the purchase. I am tired of waiting. Do I have any recourse?

You may commence an action for partition. Ultimately, the house will be sold at an auction.
