Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
I helped a friend out by getting a car loan solely in my name 3 1/2 yrs ago. The person has stopped making payments now. They are the only name on the title registration, and insurance while I'm the only name on the loan. They live in the state of New York. Do I have any options legally to make them get a loan to pay off the one I have?

Your only remedy is a possible lawsuit against your friend for the money.
