Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

hi how are you

i own a home in Long island new york and im trying to do a deed in lieu. i have a common name and there are approx. 80 matches against the title that are not mine. the agency that works for the lender says its gonna take a long long time to clear these names. how can i expedite this quicker. iv'e been waiting over 6 months now. i don't want the house to fourclose. thanks

Usually a title company accepts an affidavit signed by the seller. However, if the purchaser (lender) does not want to accept the affidavit then there is little that you can do except wait.
