Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

I own a home in NY state. My driveway has an easement that was intended to give access to a house that used to be at the back of the neighbors property but no longer exists. They are thinking of building a garage which would mean moving my car every time they entered or exited the garage. There is nowhere else for me to park my car and the driveway is too narrow to go around my car. I paid for this driveway, I pay taxes on it, and maintain it but if I can't reasonable use it if they build the garage. What are my rights?

More information is required. The language grating the easement is critical. If it was limited to pedestrian access, you may be able to block the garage. Consult a local real estate attorney.
