Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
home to be sold is in south carolina
My brother and I want to sell our property -which we both own. He will not be able to attend the actual sale. He will allow me power of attorney fo this transaction. Should the state power of attorney form be from where the property is (south carolina) or for where he resides today (ny) ???

Since the Power of Attorney will be filed with the deed, you should use South Carolina's form.
