Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Homeowner Liability

I have neighborhood kids that ride their bikes in my driveway and on my grass. They are not invited and in fact I have told them not to do this on my property. Am I liable for any injuries that occur on my property?

Since you are aware that these children trespass on your property, you will be liable if you know/should know of a dangerous condition on your property and a child gets hurt because of it. Such as, an open pit/storm drain, sharp objects, etc.

You may want to fence it off if possible.
