Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

house appraisal

I recently had my house appraised and it cost $350. I had it done for a potential refinancing. Now, I have decided to not refinance. Am I entitled to a copy of the appraisal since I paid for it?? If so, should I approach the company and request it??

Thank you, I anticipate your response.

Re: house appraisal

Yes and Yes

You are entitled to receive a copy of your appraisal. It should also contain the original photographs, if any, taken of your property.

Request it from the mortgage company.

Good Luck.
