Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

We have a house in NY state that is being rented and the lease is up March 1st. Can we list the house for sale now and start showing it? What happens if we get an offer and want to sell it before March 1st?

Provided you have a provision in the lease which allows you to do so, you may show the property now.

You may sell it at any time, however, as to occupancy before March 1, would have to be negotiated with your tenant.
