Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
My husband and i bought a duplex home with sister and her family. The mortgage and deed/title to the house is entirely in our name cause my sister and husband couldnt get a mortgage. We have a seperate agreement written up between all 4 of us stating we all own the home. Well our living situation has become hostile and abusive, and we want to sell this house and move. Want to know if the agreement we have written up is legal and if we can sell this house.
