Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

My husband and I are purchasing land in ny state within this month. We had filed an extension on our taxes, and they are to be paid next month. Are we still able to purchase the land this month , being we are paying our taxes in full next month?

I do not see why not. The purchase of property and the payment of taxes (other than a property transfer tax) are independent actions.
