Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

my husband and I have separated but not legally we are living in different residences. I have stayed in our home and have the mortgage in my name only. Both of our names are on the deed, I have asked him not to come here without my permission but he says he can come whenever he wants because he is on the deed. What can I do?
