Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

I own an investment property, but the former owner brought a lawsuit against me regarding such. I had the lawsuit dismissed but the other party has tried to have it re-enforced. The judge is waiting to hear the case to decide wether to reinstate the suit, in the meantime the judge issued a stay forbiding the sale of the property. I want to move the property into an LLC that I control in order to protect myself and possibly bring on a partner to fight this suit. Can I do this?

If there is an order that does not allow you to transfer the house, then, you cannot transfer the house. You must follow the order.

One would have to scruntinize the order. I can't imagine that a judge could preclude you from transferring the property, and I am sure there are ways to undermine the court order. Feel free to contact me.
