Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Junk in New House

I just bought a house this month, I moved in and the previous owner had left a lot of junk in the back shed, example: lawn mower, washing machine, dish washer, hot water heater, rubber tires, old paint cans. All these items are old and unusable. Can the previous owner be sued to remove these items, or to cover the cost?

Re: Junk in New House

You need to have an attorney review your deal in purchasing the home. If you had an attorney do the closing for you, they may have the answers.

If you need to have an attorney review the documents, I will be very happy to do so. I can be reached at 201-646-9600.
