Can a Laywer represent the Seller and the Buyer of a home.

Said a Mutual friend is buyer my house and we want to use same Law Offices and Laywer

There is a conflict when one lawyer represents both the buyer and seller. One lawyer may represent either the buyer or seller and the other party may or may not retain seperate counsel.
