lease termination

If you are a tenat that lives in a carraige house connected to the landlords house and they have put thier house up for sale, does the tenat have the right to break the least and get thier secuirty deposit back??

Probably not, most leases are binding on the landlord and his "successors" i.e the new owner would take the premises subject to your tenancy. As a practical matter, many buyers prefer to take a property completely vacant so the lamdlord may be delighted to have you leave early.
